Today was another crazy Wednesday. We did the nutrition class at the Senior Center where Joy teaches. We had Romaine lettuce leafs filled with pate’ from carrots and beets topped with Joynaisse dressing. Also, they had juiced beets for beet juice.

When I got up this morning and got weighed I was sort of discouraged. I wasn’t able to tell if I was still losing or not. Trying to get on the scale and have it weigh properly with me being so big can be discouraging. I so want to get below the 500 lb mark. I know that I should be happy considering that I started at 570 lbs and today I weighed 505 lbs. Nevertheless, I WANT to get below the 500 lb mark so bad that I can taste it! I KNOW that the devil is using this as a last ditch effort to get me discouraged and I WON’T HAVE IT!!!!!!!!! I called my friend, Dean, this morning and she prayed with me and ministered to me in regard to this. She’s got my back as far as warfing goes. I also had to call her this afternoon to hold up the standard again and I so appreciated this. She is an awesome person.

This afternoon it was raining and I was sort of hoping that I wouldn’t have to walk because it was raining too much. However, the rain slowed way down and stopping wasn’t even an option. We got home from the class at about 3:00 pm and from then on the house was full of people. I kept my eye on the clock and at around 4:15 pm I realized that it was time to get my clothes changed and get off to the school to go walking. WELL, I did just that! I got dressed, put on my sneakers, and we pulled ourselves away from everyone at the house and went to meet the trainer so I could get on with my exercise program. I felt very encouraged in myself because I made this happen in spite of the fact that I really DON’T LIKE WALKING! We got there and we beat the trainer. Joy and I started walking around the track by ourselves. I made myself walk farther than I did yesterday before I stopped. THEN, I ended up NOT stopping again until I was through with the whole 1/4 mile of the track. I was so excited that I did the 1/4 mile and only stopped for a breath/water one time. Then, we went 1/4 of the track and back after that. That made it so that I walked one complete time around the track and 1/4 time around the track. After that Yvette gave me an elastic band to increase my exercise. Starting today and continuing every other day I am to hold the band between my hands and stretch it to tone my outer upper arms and my inner upper arms. I am to do this exercise for 3 sets of 25 for inner and 3 sets of 25 for outer upper arms. I did this in the truck while we were on the way home. It was invigorating to say the least. Another thing that excited me was the fact that after doing the walk around the track, I walked up the sidewalk and then to the truck without stopping. THIS is a momentous thing as I have not done this before. THEN when Joy turned on the truck the radio was playing a really peppy song and we decided to dance in the parking lot in the rain. WE were having a crazy time.

When we got in the house again we had people come for product and consultations. I decided that I was hungry so I had myself a red bell pepper, a wedge of red onion, and a piece of fresh pineapple. WOW, was that ever good! I had a small smoothie with the milled flaxseed and bee pollen to round off my nourishment for the day. We decided that we needed to have a better schedule starting tomorrow, sooooo, we are going to have smoothies at 8, noon, and 3 in the afternoon and then be done with eating for the day. While we were in the kitchen we decided that we needed to kick up the exercise so we decided that starting next week we would add a little dance/cardio workout in the morning. WE plan on doing this from 7 – 8 in the mornings and then having smoothies to start the day. After that I will dg on and start my day with my shower, my reading, and my homework for my life coaching class or whatever I need to do.

While we were in the kitchen we decided to see if I could hold in my stomach and much to everyone’s surprise. . .I could. So we then proceeded to do some stomach toning exerciese thus we decided to check into some belly dance classes.

Well, that was enough excitement for me for one day. Don’t you think?!
