It sure is good to be home. Wow, what an eventful last 5 months. When I walked in the house I KNEW that my life had changed. When I left I couldn’t even walk out to the mailbox because it was just too far. Now I am a new person and let me tell you how I know this. When I walked in the house I saw what a disaster I left it in when I left. I guess I just sort of left things a mess when I left. All I could do was to get packed, get the car loaded and go before I changed my mind. Well, when I got home and walked back into the whirlwind that was my house, my first thought was. . . “wow, what a mess I have to clean up“. Now had that of been before, my thought would have been “wow, who can I hire to clean up this mess?” See the difference? I was thinking how was I going to clean this disaster and NOT who could I find to clean up this disaster. My energy level is back. And, YES, I did and do go out to the mailbox now. I do so many things now that I would not have done before. I am so very happy and each new day is an adventure. I am no where near my goal; however, every day is filled with anticipation of going the distance. I can actually see my destiny on the horizon. I have my goal in sight and I am continually moving in that direction. Nothing or no one is going to keep me from succeeding! I have a right to succeed and have a wonderful, happy life. God gave me life and I plan to live it!!!! Want to come with me? Let’s make changes for the better, together.

One of the first things I did when I got home was to go and join the local gym. I am going 5 times a week. I have committed to doing this and I am doing it. It feels good to do something for me that is helping me to get closer to my goal. It seems as though for the first time in my life I am taking steps to succeed. I AM WORTH IT!!!
