Well, here we are just 16 more days until Christmas.  The time is fast approaching when many will be making their “New Year’s Resolutions”.  Does anyone ever make those and then actually stick with them past January 3rd?

I am sitting here pondering what this past year has brought and what the New Year has to behold.  I am expecting great things in 2007.  I must say that 2006 wasn’t too shabby.  Hopefully, I will be able to close out this year weighing below the 400 lb mark.

Today has been sort of a tough day.  I have not really wanted to do anything.  I have my outside Christmas decorations done; however, I have no energy to get going on getting the inside decorations put up.  Perhaps it is just a little lull, after all this past two weeks have been quite intense for me.  I put all of my efforts into going to the gym, getting my Christmas cards done and in the mail AND getting the website ready to be launched.  Those things are now done so perhaps I am just in a collapsing mood from all of the rush that was going on.

This past week I started kicking up the exercise also.  In addition to going to the gym every morning I now do exercises in the afternoon.  My Ashley ( my little cousin) has Cerebal Palsey and she has a tough time doing her needed exercises by herself.  Soooo, I decided that she needed to “help” Auntie Bo to do her extra exercises.  I help her and she helps me.  It seems to be working out quite nicely.  However, I seem to be very exhausted when the day is over.  I’m sure this is a good thing.

My thoughts to all and remember Christmas is just one day as far as eating is concerned.  Let’s not graze through the holidays.  Remember the 90/10 plan.  Stick to your plan 90% of the time and the other 10% won’t really make a bad dent in your progress.  We must learn to “eat to live” and NOT “live to eat”.
