Hi, Bo, I was so glad to read that God lead you to turn to Him when you faced a mountain that you had never been able to conquer before. It was suggested to me recently that when in a tough spot, I should pray for MERCY, and let the Lord figure out what that should look like. I enjoyed the section on milled flax seed very much, and was wondering how much a person (OK,…me!) should have in a day for maximum benefit. I could use some help in the appetite suppressant department, my “bad” cholesterol is at an acceptable level, but I need to get my “good” cholesterol up. I am a 50-year-old diabetic male on a very-low-calorie diet (currently at c.285 lbs.), but I think I have room in the diet for flax calories. Any suggestion wuold be appreciated. Keep up the good work. You are inspiring more people than you are aware of!

Randy,
Congratulations on your commitment to health. Being that I am not a Dr. or an authority my recommendation is based purely on my own personal experience. That being said. . . I would recommend at least 3 heaping tablespoons per day for weight loss. When I was doing 3 smoothies per day I was putting 3 heaping tablespoons per smoothie, per day for a total of 9 tablespoons per day. The nutritional breakdown of the type of Flax that I took is as follows:
1 Tablespoon = Calories: 40
Fat 3 grams
Carbs 2 grams
Protein 2 grams
I hope this helps.
Keep moving forward and remember this: In our weakness He is made strong.

Hi Bo.
Congratulations on your site and your success – very informative and encouraging to others. Keep up the good work, for your own sake and for the sake of your readers.
I was particularly interested in your article on the Benefits of Sea Salt, and wondered whether you would agree to a reciprocal link of that article to our website. As you will see, I have been using natural grey sea salt for many years, and believe in it’s qualities.
Happy New Year to you
Regards
